Good morning all! Yesterday was my lat day before spring break, yay! 10 days off!!:wee

I had a BYC dream last night, rjohns was in it (no, not like that, you pervs!). I don't remember what it was but we were talking about trading chickens, lol.

I am still boycotting any and all Xmas parties/gatherings with my in-laws, it's been awesome. :D

One of my new babies starting crowing today (the only one of the batch with black feet and skin. I call him Blackfoot, not very original, I know). I have at least 2 boys out of 5. They're all so pretty! I need to post pictures.

Flower has been worrying me. She stayed out on a perch in the run twice in the past couple weeks after dark. I had to get her and put her back in. She seems a little thinner too. She is still molting, so I'm hoping that is all. She's my baby and my favorite chicken. Have any of your birds done that? Stayed out?

Parront, so good to see you back!!!:hugs I wish Smuv would poke her pointy little head in here! She sent me a "Crock Cock" recently, lol, it's like a rubber chicken with a bunch of holes in it that you put herbs in for stew and soup. She's such a nut, lol. We play phone tag but never quite catch each other. Now that I have some time off, I am gonna try and catch her when we're both around.

@MrsMistyReal , I am so sorry about all your husband and you have been going through (I just stalked the Granny thread). I am sending you all my good thoughts, hugs, and love. You were always so supportive and wonderful here, you are missed. Please pop in here anytime, we are here for you. :hugs

Suze, did you get your Friend badge back yet? Cuz that is just crazy. :idunno

That's all I got for now. Loves yas!!!!

Good morning PBM. Please do post pics of the chickies.

I have a chicken that is extremely mopey when she molts. She also isn't much into eating, but then snaps out of it. Hopefully that's all that is wrong with Flower.

Nope......I sent a PM to Duck Lady......who ever she is.......but haven't heard back. I also asked her about the calendar I won.....still haven't received it.

I feel so naked when I'm badgeless.....

so this is what I've been doing. Baking cookies and making Christmas ornaments with some chicken feathers. Not sure how well you can see it but, the ornaments has soft downy and silky feathers in it.

Mornin ya'll.

Good to k ow Smuv is not among the "fell off the edge of the Earth" group.

I have thought often of Misty. :hugs
I cannot imagine how hard things are for our dear Misty.

Much love for ya'll. Those that are here and those that have ghosted us. :hugs:hugs

Lots to do the next couple days. We are expecting winter to find us next week.

A very quick Tilly update......
Growing like a weed, already able to get on and off the furniture all by herself!

Potty training is going well too. She's a pistol for sure. Sable plays nicely with her having dialed her rough housing way back.
Delilah has a bubble that puppy dents which gets a growl.:hmm
Tilly is very gentle with my big old guy. :)

I will post pics, now that I have some free time!

They wouldn't take away your badge, that has to be some kind of wacky screwup. You are a good friend!! So weird.

I'm hoping it's just the molt. She's also very antisocial lately, and quiet, and normally she's at the top of the pecking order.

This is my first molting with all my girls, so I'm still learning! Willow (my naked chicken) was also very mopey, scrawny-looking, and pathetic when she was molting, and then all of a sudden her new feathers grew in and she is healthy, fleshed out, and acting and looking normal again! Maybe it makes them super-uncomfortable when they molt.

Another weird thing I notice with my molters is that hey will hold one foot up for some time, and then another (their feet are all good, no bumbles). Do any of yours do that?

So now we're missing a check in from @Sassysouth, @BantyChooks, Misty, & Smuv.
I just looked up Misty & found a recent post on Granny's thread that her husband's down to 100lbs & no longer eating. Anyone heard from Smuv? Surely she can't still be packing in fl.
I'm here, I'm here! I thought you all must have forgotten me by now. :frow
