Official Squatch Watchers

So, I set a roast to thaw last night and had it in the oven by 8am cooking low and slow. I've been working today, like I did Monday. Just monitoring email and preparing for something I'm expecting tomorrow. I got 4 loads of laundry through the washing machine. There is still one load that needs to go into the dryer. I just need to fold them.... which is my least favorite part because it it takes the most time, especially when folding Milk Drinker clothes. But I feel pretty pretty accomplished for the day.

That's quite a bit done! Days like that feel good.
:yesss:

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall. You sure you've got a puppy and not just a real hairy kid? ;)

Not entirely certain......

She does throw those "I'm to tired to sleep" baby fits. All kinds of squirmy and whiny. :lau

My OE started laying again today!! :clap

I was cleaning the coop and saw a hen in the box. Got all eggcited and everything. I went back later and she was still in the box.....thought I would check for an egg......
no dice it's just my mean as tater broody Australorp headed to broody again. She gave me a pinch for my efforts.

Congrats on your eggie!

I am so jelly!

Enough is enough - give her a good pinch right back

I am setting up my broody breaker this evening. That aught to make life easier.....for ME.
:lau

Last year I had soooooooo many broody hens OMG! I am going to have to be on top of it this summer.

She is on my keep list only because I want to see if she is good with chicks.......:hmm Course with so many broody girls others may be much nicer to deal with.

The sooner the better for breaking them!

Well folks, Ham has been found, unfortunately not alive. No sign of the little one who escaped with him. He changed direction. Last time I saw him he was heading up my mountain, heading north east. He apparently turned south and traveled a couple of miles before finding the highway. He was about 10 miles from here when he was hit by a car. My neighbor's friend saw it happen the day before Christmas.

I am very sorry!

Was there damage to the car or people hurt?
