Don’t ever lend an expensive stethoscope to a pregnant “work friend” so her 5 year old can hear its siblings heartbeat.

The work friend will never bring it back after her maternity leave, blow you off for a year, leave their job with the promise to bring it in, then move across the country. Never to be heard from again ...:rolleyes:

Might be easier to just get protective gear to put on the children, so they can't open, drool. throw, knock off, stomp on things they should not touch. You would just need the protection on each kid rather than for a half dozen or more untouchable, breakable items. ??
Baby gates work pretty well :) But my Dr Mom tools are often needed where the kid is.
