I think unless we grew up on a farm, we’re all convinced every egg is either bright white or a specific hue.
You’ll discover that every bird is unique and learn to tell their eggs apart too!
The color varies from the beginning as their system gets started, all the way through to the end of a laying cycle.
Some of mine ran out of freckles AND paint by the time they paused for molting and winter.
I can’t wait to see what they look like when they start up again.
Ohh okay. That makes sense. Her egg has a pink hew with freckles :) So amazing....

Ahhhhh.... i just assumed by looking at pictures that's what she looked most like to me. But I got them at TSC and they had no clue what she was.
The people at my tsc almost never can tell the chicks apart even though they are in big troughs with signs!:gig

Customers aren’t supposed to touch the birds but sometimes they reach in, and I’ve seen them toss the chicks back in troughs other than the one they came from.

Also I’m not trying to be mean here, but I’m pretty certain the manager of my tsc came from “some other retail world” because that man most certainly DID NOT come off a farm.
He is even more clueless than me. :gig

Yeahhhhhh I agree. They weren't educated at all about them when I asked. Mine have been really heathly though so I got lucky hearing now that isn't the best place to get them. At the time I didn't know any better. I generally follow the people around who I see getting feed and ask them lolol I've gotten really good advice from them.

So I

have another question. I was told the other two were Barred Rocks. But they look different. Here's a picture. Do you think they are both barred rocks?
