Probably the second photo. So IView attachment 1633661 have another question. I was told the other two were Barred Rocks. But they look different. Here's a picture. Do you think they are both barred rocks?View attachment 1633660
Actually.... this is probably what happened. They probably have all their Rock breeding pens in the same building and there was some cross over. She does look a lot like a cross between your barred rock and your white rock.Actually, the more I look at her, I think this is what happened. This is what my Dominique over Buff hen looked like. I think you would get a similar effect if you had a Barred Rock roo over a silver based white hen (like a white rock).

Some hatcheries are turning out some odd looking EEs without muffs or beards.
Honestly, that would make sense. Especially if they came from the same supplier.Actually.... this is probably what happened. I meant to add this to my post about how sweet she is. Lolol sorry... still learning the site... this is chicken little... the mix

Yeah I got them from TSC... she was always tiny and honestly I thought she was sickly at first because she always had a dirty bottom that I had to wash everyday. But she grew into being the prettiest hen!!And you got her from TSC? I wonder if she is an oops chick. She could be a Barred Rock over a silver based white bird. Sometimes a bird of the wrong breed will get into a hatchery breeding pen.
