Official Squatch Watchers

If they didn't stand at the door and scream when they can't see anybody i would let them decide lol! The neighbors probably don't enjoy that noise, i don't. I've never had chickens do that, its like that panic squeal chicks do but out of three grown birds.:)
Sweetie.... Maybe just open the doors and let them decide if they want out.

Eventually they will come out.

Last time I found a hen looking that way, I had the same results, took her back out to her pen (winter shelter) and found the victim... She was covered in blood cause she was tearing up the roo... And he let her do it, just stood there unwavering and let her tear up his waddles. He was not happy when I took him in and cleaned him up and put bluekote on his waddles.
There was a splash zone under her. I'm guessing she got a small injury and then shook her head. I didn't see injuries on anyone else. I even bag balmed the boys to be on the safe side for frostbite.

I spent the whole weekend putting up decorations. Lights and garland on the coop ( see photo) and lights and garland around the front door. Decorated the fireplace mantle in the kitchen and put up my nutcracker collection in the living room. Put up a lot of other little things too. No tree yet
