Official Squatch Watchers

I just gave them the 2nd dose of worm meds on Thursday so I should be ok... I'm hoping that maybe MAYBE it was just a flake from her feathers since she's molting. That's what I get for breathing.

I was careful to make sure I kept my mouth closed this morning.

I hope your rain doesn't last too long. I can't tell if this is the beginning of spring mud season, or just an extension to the winter mud season. It's dry this morning, but the weather says it's going to rain tomorrow morning & Friday evening.... (I was actually looking at the weather for the right place too!) That's an improvement b/c last I'd looked said it was to rain today also. It's been kinda nice having a dry spell here AND it's supposed to be mid 50's today too!!!! IDK if we can handle it.

For us it's the start of our snowiest month. :(

Then there is the mud........ Oh goodie.

We are forecast to get 8 to 14 inches of snow today then climb to 60 by the middle of next week.

Took the tiny human to the dr, ear infection finally reared it's head. Rapid strep was negative, but they gave her antibiotics for the ear that would cover strep if that's what it is. She's missed 3 days this week now b/c she still wasn't feeling well & hadn't gotten her meds until 6:30 so hopefully she'll be feeling better tonight after this does gets in her. She felt so terrible she crawled into bed w/ me for a bit before she started coughing again and then went back to her own bed.

I am glad she is getting meds that cover both.
Poor tiny human. :hugs
Ear infections are awful.

If all this rain had been snow we would already be buried. There is standing water in the low spots of the kennel. :hmm

Sable keeps insisting she wants to go out.....I know that she just wants to roll Tilly in the mud.

I tried wearing a mask to clean the coop.... they freaked out at the monster I had become.

The rain has changed to sleet/snow.

I refuse to go out and see which it is. :caf

I left my big group shut in the coop. There are 2 birds in there that would not do well going out in this carp.
The Cochin coop has a covered run so they are out and about.

I left the light on for the big group too. At 11 I will go check for eggs and make sure the dry feed gets topped off. They have wet feed and enough dry for at least a day. I doubt I will want to haul dry feed out in the morning tomorrow.

Stupid wet snow! :rant

HA! I use dollar store paint masks when I'm cleaning out the coop. I probably should wear when when I'm scooping poop, but at this point I just cover my face with my sleeve.. probably part of why I was having trouble breathing.

Cooper wants to go out too.
I just finished turning over the soil in my big garden.
He’s dying to dig in it which would be a Big mess, since it’s fluffy down about two feet right this minute. :woot

@apryl29
I sure hope this gets the tiny human set on a healthier road for a while. :hugs:fl
