So this is my girl that seemed sick yesterday.....well she is perfectly fine today. I put her back out with hers friends and she waddled right out to the run chattering the whole way. Her named is Safron but we call her SaffyView attachment 1703943

You are probably correct Rae.
He also just had explosive diarrhea, so that was fun!
Thank the lord he wasn’t on my bed when that happened.
I got him to his litter box “in time” but it went all over him
and me
And the floor.
Oh
and the wall too somehow.

Thank goodness for antibacterial wipes and washing machines!

He’s really having a rough time getting this out of his system.

I don’t know if it’s the anesthesia, the pain meds, or the injectable antibiotic they gave him that caused that.

Could be the antibiotics. Sometimes they just don’t agree with the stomach.

I love my little D’Uccles. My little rooster is just the sweetest guy. I noticed when all the boys are outside if one of the two bigger ones makes the alert call the other boys look for threat then agree on the call. But if tiny Clayton makes the alert the other two big boys don’t question it. Just automatically make the noise too. LOL
I have two FBCM. Hefty girls! Not super friendly but not really afraid of me. My one is Missy that is the star of my sugar for wounds thread. So she got handled A LOT and got very used to it. Then went back to “only hold me if you have to mom” lol

Good morning friends.

Day/night 2 with cat issues.


Any suggestions on building the better cone of shame for a cat?

Once the anesthetic swore off it turns out Sam is actually Houdini. Currently have it rigged to a teeny tiny puppy harness/vest and even still it buys me maybe 5 minutes before he’s got it off.

I can’t see these stitches lasting through the day at this rate.

i hate migraines. So glad for you that it’s passed.
Be sure to hydrate really well today to keep a rebound headache away.
