Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning friends.

Day/night 2 with cat issues.

Any suggestions on building the better cone of shame for a cat?

Once the anesthetic swore off it turns out Sam is actually Houdini. Currently have it rigged to a teeny tiny puppy harness/vest and even still it buys me maybe 5 minutes before he’s got it off.

I can’t see these stitches lasting through the day at this rate.

i hate migraines. So glad for you that it’s passed.
Be sure to hydrate really well today to keep a rebound headache away.

Is the dog comforting him or giving him escape tips?

Are you able to rig the cone with pantyhose maybe running from the cone through the hoop on the cone, under his chest, twist a few times, then behind the legs, up around the ribs, twist to go along his back then through a hoop on the upper part of the cone?

Crazy cats don't understand it's for their own good.

Yes drinking a lot of water, taking meds and hoping it stays reduced.

The super weird part when I get migraines is it messes with my sense of smell something fierce.
Everything smells like bacon. Seriously! It has smelled like fresh frying of bacon for 2 days! No there has been no bacon cooked here in weeks!
Lol definitely could be worse!

@staceyj is the cone tied to the harness in multiple places? If it is tied in only one place he is probably flexible enough to get out of it.
Hi rae! I’ve tried the harness on the “right way” as well as upside down. The tie is currently connected from underneath and he’s deep in thought as to what his next strategic maneuver is going to be to get out of it this way.
I need longer gauze!

Don’t crush my hopes like that girl!

The pics help a ton!

Yes stockings! Tie to the cone and harness in as many places as you can.

My big dog had to have his tail docked for medical reasons. To keep him off the nub I had to rig a saint Bernard size cone with nylons.
It didn't completely stop him reaching. He was restitched 4 flipping times!
