Official Squatch Watchers

I'd verify the forecast and ship priority mail. Should be ok based on what i'm seeing, but things can change in a heart beat this time of year.
High 54, low 38 predicted for Monday. USPS Priority Express, should be an overnight delivery. Perfect weather to me. They won’t smother or freeze.

Do UPS planes FLY DIRECT or do they use hubs too? Because if they have to go to someplace super cold for a transfer that wouldn't be good.

USPS typically goes large city to large city in a state to state approach. Most mail that flies, does so on commercial airlines.
Thanks, that's what I was wondering because DD's boyfriend is a baggage handler here for AA.
i know he's mentioned dogs on flights (and mail) but don't think He's ever mentioned chickens lol.
Now I'm going to have to ask him!

Morning all you squatchy peeps.

Going to be mid 60's here today. I will have to go ahead and water the shrubs. It is very very very dry up here.

Going to spend time outside today. Not much I can do gardening wise but maybe some stuff.

We will likely pay for this warm weather in March with a couple deep snows.

I miss Smuv too.

Yeah...snowing here. I didn’t even bother opening the pop door. They won’t go out in this. Had to put shaving down for warmth. So I tossed some feed around for them to forage. My heated waterer seems to only be half working. :barnie May get the heater that goes with my other waterer...another late in the year expense.

Wait. Stop. No! Be careful!
Just read a thread here yesterday about a coop fire.
Had a heater and a water heater and a fancy outdoor extension cord.
OP thinks it might have been the water heater that started it.

It’s the enclosed base kind.

It’s not frozen but there’s chunks of ice in it...
