so the current plan is to put shipped wlr eggs into cut out bottom foam egg cartons in the 2nd incubator. after they have set 48 hrs.. and not turn then for a couple of days.. I checked with a similar size egg and they will fit to the sides of the heater/fan.
Please send me a broody to take the turkey eggs LOL

No more buttermilk. I only offered feed and scrambled egg today.

I went back through the texts to find what feed the guy used. I noticed he sent me this text after I had already got home with Henrietta

It is good to get her off of the Dairy.

Dairy products including yogurt, milk and cheese can give chickens diarrhea since they aren't designed to digest the milk sugars, so go easy on the dairy if you notice it's having a negative effect. OR can actually be toxic in large enough amounts.

Got enough mealworms to start food training this bunch, the normal 2500 but my normal place rainbowmealworms wants waaaay too much to ship now.
Think iv'e found their replacement but the site has the WORST name....www.curtishastheworms.com:gig
After the initial giggle fit they're a good deal. Got them in two days, 2500 costs 20 bucks, free shipping and a 10% coupon code I didn't have but do now. It is a general savings code, E19 is it if anybody needs worms for chickens or beardies.:)

@ronott1 this was her poop this afternoon. In between morning and afternoon was loose white with a little green. So, I started Flagyl this morning. I my reading it seems Penicillin covers many things and Valbazen may cover worms that are not covered my Safeguard (if I read correctly). What are your thoughts and what would you do?

I have Valbazene if you want. It will expire before I use it all.

Thank you. I can just grab some at TSC.

And I am open to all opinions from everyone. I know y’all are ready for this bird to get better so I can move on with life (and other topics).

I think we all just want her to get better and you to not have to struggle with her anymore.

It looks like things are getting better! There is a lot less intestinal shedding there. She should start eating feed again soon. If not, I would tube feed a slurry of chick starter or flock raiser.

I would not give any more dairy products.

She has made it for quite a few days and the wormer and other parasite medicines should be kicking in.

Remember to re treat for worms at 7 to 10 days. She might need more corid too but that is not as critical since she is older. She should be able to resist the coccidiosis cysts better once she is stronger

I think its $50 a bottle here. If you only need a little I really would be happy to get some to you. It is honestly going to go bad before I use it all.
