That is awful! That is the main reason iv'e steered clear of silkies their low Marek's resistance. Poor lady, I feel for her.
that's true Chickassan. My friend lost 3 birds in a row- day apart. The couldn't stand up but would eat well if she hand fed them. Lost a serama hen first, next day silkie hen, and last the other serama hen. They were all 5 year old house chickens. But she only let the silkie outside because she wouldn't fly away. I think the silkie brought Marek's to the other two.

Look at Henrietta making friends with dumb and dumber (Flo & Vera). She makes friends, then when there is no barrier, she tells them she is Queen B.

Took son to the orthodontist today and made myself a chiropractor appt. I am not a chiropractor fan, but insurance pays for it. If I don’t get any relief, I will pay out if pocket and try acupuncture. No one told me at 30 I would slowly fall apart and the 40’s is worse. Good grief!

Sassy, Henrietta don't make no sense! Personally I don't think she ever will you have a weirdo.
She's pretty though.:)
And yeah, from 40 it all goes downhill...fast.

@staceyj Update on me.

I found out I have a little bit of glucose intolerance (but not bad enough to be classified as GD) but I found a way to manage it with diet.

Thing 1 is getting smarter by the day and has an incredibly high pain tolerance. Today he discovered why we've been keeping him away from electric fences. I FINALLY got an electrician out here to set up our service boxes and we were walking the property to figure out what to do with a dirt pile in the back yard that is right were the power company wants to put a pole. Thing 1 was walking along and I hear him start saying in a monotone, repetitive way "Oww. Oww. Oww." I look at him and he is up the hill from me holding onto the electric fence (that my neighbor uses to keep his cows in, which are currently on our property). I tell him to let it go. He says in a very calm matter of fact voice "Fence, Oww." I remember the first time I got shocked by an electric fence. I was crying.

She doesn’t. Look at this. She is scared of Mel, so i put him in “jail” so Henrietta would come “outside” and she stands beside him:barnie:confused: 32FBCCE6-5C07-4BB6-AE00-1D3C78990F6B.jpeg
