well the 2nd cornish didn't zip more than a quarter of the way and stopped moving
The 3rd egg is just sitting there

So I debated about raising the 2 in a brooder but the moose is so active and jumping on the cornish. He needs some discipline and enrichment.. so I decided to see if the broody with one would take them. I put them in just before sunset... Content little trills and she is taking care of all 3 this morning

But the mama turkey was missing a poult this morning.. finally found it dead out of the coop about 20 ft away. The coop is 24 ft long and she was keeping them in the back part. It must have ran out out last night before lockup because it was soaked from the rains. I hadn't heard it peeping and didn't realize it was missing.

Sorry you lost one! I am letting my Turkey sit on their eggs. I have 2 incubators full!

Most of them are going into a box as soon as they dry and heading to the post office. I'm going to try my hand at shipping live birds.

Yep, sadly. I have a new phone with a brighter colored case, so hopefully easier to find...

I've had that happen too Cap. Plus often can't find my sun glasses and I am wearing them. It's just they don't annoy me like corrective glasses do. Can't wear the crappy bi- focals the doctor had me get. I have one near sighted eye and one far sighted. I don't need bifocals.
