:frowHi all! Busy weekend! Busy day tomorrow too.

I feel sorry for my chicks. They have depended on Momma D 6-7ish weeks and she has gone all Momma B on them. I threw some scratch in the run today, she pecked one, but then grabbed it by the tail and wouldn’t let it go. I don’t even know who this chicken is any more. It is like hormones in overdrive. Good grief! It is really sad, in human emotions.

Been out separating and planting yarrow, got a pot clearance yesterday. Now iv'e got pink and yellow just need white for teas and i'll be set.
I bet people have a good laugh at my yarrow since they are basically weeds...but they're funtional weeds.:D

Oh My!

I read that wrong and thought you were getting clearance to grow pot!

I hope the Yarrow does well for you!

6 to seven weeks is normal for a Broody to give up on raising the chicks.

10 weeks is kind of the extreme range.

I've got the oars. Spent too much time up schnitzel creek, now I come prepared.

:woot For remembering the oars! Just don't splash with them in schnitzel creek!
It would make the schnitzel fly! :lau
