She's fine, it was so weird! When I picked her up she physically perked up and looked like I was just holding Lulu...but she was still dead asleep eyes closed grunting and groaning.
I almost shook the poor thing. I think she was just really, really asleep. She opened her eyes, hopped off my lap went to eat.
Looked at me like I was crazy.

WHEW!! Crazy that she was dead to the world asleep like that.

And for everyone, , cuz y'all are the best group of people I've had the pleasure to be a part of.

I would like to also wish a belated Happy Mother's Day to all of us moms. I enjoy reading here, but am so far behind that I just thought I would say "HI". Good News from here, we are buying a house on 1/2 acre, hens OK, but no roosters. Lots of room for a garden and chicken yard!

I had to move her out of the popular nest a line was forming and poor baby still thinks she's laying even though she's done.
She is always weird after coming off being broody, like she fights herself and her body.
All I can do is kind of look after her, even for a derp she's special in a whooole lot of ways. She did actually get up to poop and eat this time, girl is learning.
