Sometimes the caretaker/Mom is not so attractive! Guys with treats are more egg-citing. Dylan started to hiss my husband after we had her a while, so I started having him give her treats every morning. Now, she loves him! No hissing -- now she calls him to play with her. (The calls can be quite loud and annoying)! Now we are working on him giving treats for nice noises.
Well that's better than here. I get yelled at all day in my own voice by my parrot. She goes outside or in another room a lot. :)

Sounds like he needs a dose of lead.
Indeed, hard to do since during warmer weather there are always people outside.
I don't think anybody would care, but I am a horrible shot.:)

I went and checked Bitty with the kids. :love:love
So freaking sweet! She put them to bed in the bottom left nest box.
It's not even dark here yet.

They are doing great! They are the absolute youngest I have had in with grown birds that weren't the mama.

Tomorrow I will work on the big house.
Aww, nobody is going to mess with those derps they've got Bitty and they're just too weird to mess with..:D
Took Lulu's egg stash, she's still parked in the door tail hanging out.
She did purr when I petted her.

A trap. But some people care so don't let the neighbors know!

She is definitely still top hen. :th

No one has messed with the kids since Bitty kicked Peanuts butt.

I will have to keep an eye on their food since it is apparently yummy. :p

I know, the less anyone else knows the better. Honestly I wish it would just keep it's butt in the woods or visit the neighbors.:)

Yummy does not cover it, i've seen Hobo eat civilly with babies just to get chick food. ;)

@Redhead Rae Vitamin C, and an iron supplement that uses ferrous fumerate or ferrous gluconate should work well. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs and was always borderline anemic even when taking the most commonly used form of iron supplements, ferrous sulfate. I determined that due to the allergy, I don't absorb ferrous sulfate well. As soon as I switched the anemia got better.

I don’t bother to try and stop the adults. Once chicks are involved everyone gets chick food. Easier on me. ;)

I reread what I wrote.....yeah it sounded like I was going to try and stop those big chickens. :lau:lau:lau
I meant keeping a watch on it so it doesn't run empty.
Those gals in that coop are not the best eaters but sure did gobble up the baby food.

The babies are to small to reach the hanging feeder......the baby feeder I have is just one quart size.
