Did it work for you Henny?

I’m trying it too.
Different recipe though.
Using baking soda/corn meal/hot chocolate mix.

Seeing a few rats in the early evening and want to get on top of it.

They are so darn smart.
Set up a live trap yesterday baited with a tiny piece of Reece’s peanut butter cup thins and had one in there this morning!
But I’m ashamed to admit that he got loose when I tried to get him out. Dernit.
I’ll be much quicker next time.

Next door got their puppy which they’ll probably neglect just like the rabbits, and I had to ask them nicely to do some cleanup. If the smell of three rabbits in two hutches overpowers a chicken coop you know it’s bad.

Apologies for being absent a bunch this past week squatchers, currently dealing with some family issues.

Also cooper update: went to get the stitches out this morning and I was so proud because the one vet said he owed the other vet $5.
He was 100% certain coop would never make it two weeks without getting out of the cone of shame and biting out the stitches.

All stitches stayed intact.

He has to wear the cone for 4-5 more days then he’s a free dog again.

No. I had to resort to heavy duty poison. I was trying to kill "micro mice" though. I don't think those tiny mice ate enough of it to do them in.

:woot For Cooper!!!! Getting my girls spayed was very stressful. Sable went off her feed for well over a week. She ate on her own for the second time YESTERDAY!
:th That is 2 solid weeks post surgery.

ERMAGERD :he For the not so great at pet care neighbors new dog. Poor thing.

Guess who got a screaming package of derps this morning?

ME!!! :wee

I am going to enjoy hearing all the derpy adventures!! I am happy you got the little goobers.

The postal worker was very impressed by their volume :D

as far as I know there is nothing you can do
but I have had them blow out and lost the chick. I think the others pick on it, so you might want to seperate it.

I vote for separating him too for a day or two, and think it wouldn’t hurt to put some disinfectant on it to keep the germs off it and maybe dry it out quicker.

Thank you both for responding :hugs

I slathered her with neosporin. Now I will watch and wait. She survived 2 days in a shipping box with 16 other chicks so she seems pretty tough. Hopefully she continues to thrive and doesn’t have any more problems going forward. It looks like she just hatched a bit early

That is freaking awesome that they managed to scream the postal worker into taking note of the volume.
:lau

I have found when it is 85° shoveling sand from the truck is be a sweaty job. :sick

I can fill 2 wheelbarrows and unload one before sweat is in my eyes to much.
:tongue

To hot, definitely to hot.

I am nearly ready to plant my pond box. I will then cover the sand with bigger rock, build my filter system, clear debris from pond and fill that bugger up!

I still need to build the short planting box for the South side......I have a few plants that will be happier there.

I think from the threads I have seen hers is not to bad. She should be right as rain in a few days.

:thumbsup Good job noticing it and taking care of her.

I'll be counting again in a few hours 58 was last count.
Not bad, not bad at all! :)

Sasquatch sighting?? Your title caught my eye because I saw a youtube last month that mentioned Dinosaur blood, tissue and flexible tendon find by a scientist that was fired by the university where she taught. Then, about a week later I saw an internet article on the Loch Ness monster and scientists have been collecting DNA in the water, results to follow later in the summer of 2019.
Welcome, grab a tinfoil hat and get comfy.;)

Yes!
And they are in the US instead of a foreign country.
No fair!

Wow.. sound like you've got popcorn going there.

We get business support (we're technically government) so we've never had a problem.

In case you don't already know, a great feature of Windows 10 is the ability to take the hard drive out of 1 computer and put it in a different one and it magically finds the drivers and boots. With older Windows versions you had the have the exact same motherboard for that to work. So even if you do have to buy a new pc you should be able to slap the drive into the new computer and be up and running in minutes. (might make a back up just in case if there's something important on it. I did this w work computers that are disposable so I don't care much if bad things happen, but you probably will.

Same.

That's horrible. We never have anyone come out, they send us parts after we troubleshoot. We buy in bulk so there's always another pc to swap parts from and tell them that certain things are bad and they send it w/ minimal trouble

Our original thread was started by a woman who had a feral chicken sighting and it was dubbed a Squatch. There was a rooster that was found, but the hen disappeared and was never seen again (as far as we know). The original thread got huge and one of the original contributors started this thread so we could all keep socializing. You're more than welcome to join in, people come and go all the time.. we talk about most anything, so feel free to jump in.

Oh... best of luck to you! I just upgraded a laptop & didn't have a problem, though I'm waiting for other pcs. Thing that made me the most angry is that you cannot install for a jump drive, you have to copy it to the hard drive b/c something w/ it changing drive letters. Sigh. Of course it doesn't TELL you this, if gives you a bs message about not being able to install, then when you click on the error to investigate then it tells you you can't use an external device for installation.
Girl, I told them what the problem was and it still didn't get fixed. They won't just send a peon customer parts, they make you suffer first.

OMG! You're one of us, the walking deaf! I'm so happy for you! The little orloff should lose the butt stump in a couple days, must be super fresh. :)
I'm watching the saddest broody breaking. Rene is in the run away from her nest of nothing and isn't one bit happy.
She's smacked all the walls, tried to fly out, tried to scream for the rooster she's just pissed.:caf
