Mine is being a jerkface too. No idea what's gotten his tail feathers in a twist, but he keeps flapping me. I usually don't care b/c he's a little person, but when I'm not wearing jeans, I care a lot.

So glad you're loving your new job, AND that it's year round. I never watched GOT, but I hear ya about binge watching... It's nice to not have to wait a week to see a show, only to forget and miss it.


Oh no! Are the remaining chicks doing ok?
The canopy looks great! I'm sure it'll help w/ the rain, it'll at least divert some of it so you shouldn't have a muddy swamp.

Happy Birthday to Thing1! Glad you're feeling better & that your new MD is letting you get some sleep. Adorable photos, but it sucks about the heel stick. Sounds like the ppl you saw first didn't do it much, if ever. Poor little guy. Hopefully they don't have to do it again.

Yeah, it was a small black bear and it was in a hurry to get out of the tree. I was worried the dog was going to fight it, but she came when I called her and the bear got away.
Puppy is doing great on her training. She mostly goes outside, and she knows sit and walks on a leash, and I am currently teaching her down. She has tons of energy!

That's what I use the hedge trimmer for too.
 
I'm shocked! Every single derp and demi derp are on the high roost with the mean girls and rooster.
The rooster is a divider lol!
These little ones are crazy. :)

One big strip and no grass/weeds/rocks thrown at you.
Dosen't make me shake after nearly as bad either. :p

I have to refuse that request.
Noodles are bad. :(

I want some freaking banana bread or brownies. Both are a no. :hit

I will settle for light and fit Greek yoghurt. Not the same as a baked sweet but doable. :D

Tomorrow I pull out all those pea plants. It is getting to hot out for them.

How do you cook your turnips? I tried them once but they were gross. Than I saw Martha Stewart suggests sauteed in butter is the best, so I'm gonna try some again after I get all my lettuce out.

Honestly I hate cooked turnips too. :sickI

I peel them and slice thin (1/8th inch) then salt to taste. They are kind of radish like.
The good are good steamed. I know, I know I am weird. :p
