Good morning! It is a zoo out there this morning! Bob is fighting other squirrels, both chicken boys are full of themselves too.
Lol, at least they're healthy and happy enough to be butts.
@21hens-incharge those dumb wasps build a paper nest like the red ones do here, pretty dang big too! I think they're worse jerks!
Ouch on the hubby boo boo too....put some blukote on him.

Oh I can see the look on his face of I even thought about the blu-kote.
Might be worth the laugh!

It's actually pretty gnarly.
It is an area about 3"x5" where the skin is ripped up and mostly missing.
I went from asleep to trauma nurse in under 3 seconds.

Good gawd I am up very early again.

Hubs was out on a call and came home missing a good amount of flesh from his arm. He got mangled trying to unhook a wrecked car.
Deep enough that that section on the tattoo is completely missing.
Cleaned it up, applied Neosporin generously, gauze pads and that stretchy wrap.
I am hoping that is enough to stave off infection.

I see a store run in my future for more neo and gauze.

Chicky, reading up on them nasty wasps I will be checking and spraying EVERYTHING with small tube like holes too.
The web pages I read about them and where they live ALL warn about aggression and painful stings. I think I know that part at least.

Let me know if you want some propolis for it. He probably won't like it being applied but carp does that stuff work!

On the wasp front.....
I found a nest and dispatched with extreme prejudice. It was about 1/2 the size of a tennis ball.

Squirrel Bob ran up my leg and took MY pop tart this morning and then fought another squirrel over it.
He's on my list for quite a while.

I located the nest, sprayed the nest, exposed the nest to direct sunlight, sprayed more and will scrape the nest up this afternoon along with the dead.
I got them early in the morning so hopefully I got 95% or more.

Everything else in the yard checked clear of nests.

Our swamp cooler has just been ticking hubs off because it is to humid for it to work. We spent the morning installing 2 window mount a.c. units.
I really hope that works well enough to cool the house.
We have another small used one we could put in the sewing room I guess.

I would say saline on gauze to promote new tissue growth and fast healing. Then put a dry gauze on top of the saline one, then wrap with stretch wrap. Change several times a day. Should heal quickly.
