Lol! That would be good!
Kill all the wasps! Extra crabby this year aren't they?
I lol that Miss May is actually Mayhem. :lau

I should name another Margo and the last one Rita. :gig

MargoRita!!!:lau:lau

I got stung again today.
When it gets dark I am checking inside the dog house. It is a big dog house. If they are in there they die in there.

Are they red or the ones with a striped butt?
Those colors are the a**holes around here. Strange enough, iv'e not seen yellow jacket nest one this year.
Those wasps are beyond vicious. Today it was an up my pant leg maneuver.

Normally it is yellow jackets. These are different.....very different.

These are black and yellow but bigger than yellow jackets and believe me these are much more hostile.
My yellow jacket traps are empty so none of them here this year.

We get mud daubers but they are mellow like a kitten compared to these vile things.

Wish me luck. I am headed to the dog house.
I already checked hubby shed and it is clear.

Give em hell!

I am rather disappointed. There were no wasp nests at all in the dog house.

That leaves the neighbors yard as home base.

They very well may have a giant nest under their low setting deck.

I am thinking hubs desire for a deck just might end up being a concrete pad. :hmm

The dogs share the rooms with their hoomans, DD#3 shares with DD#4, and for now, Luci. Ricardo, unfortunately, did not survive. We knew this was a distinct possibility, we were just hoping it would go better. Basically, she was a failure to thrive and we did all we could. Luci will not be alone, we will be picking up a silkie on Tuesday that is the same age as Luci, which will be 11 days at that point. We'll be able to choose a healthy and rambunctious little butt munch.

Thanks for the update.

I am really sorry she didn't make it.
I am also glad you are able to get a friend for her.

I think I figured out what kind of wasp I am dealing with.

The nasty things I sprayed out of mid air this afternoon match their description to a T.

Glad he turned up!
Me too, he is a nice rooster. I opened the cage today and none of the three roosters wanted to go out!
Got my new used coop delivered today. Can hardly wait to get it cleaned out, painted and sprayed. Going to add extra windows. It already has nest boxes you can access from outside.

Sorry about Ricardo. I hate losing one.
