Well she didn't get a bad girl name so she's got to show out!
I like Callie for the greenie girl, pretty eggs,pretty name.

When they were babies 3 managed to get out of the broody run causing quite the commotion. They got named Havoc, Chaos and Mayhem. The only one that stayed with Mom got named Peanut.
Mayhem is affectionately known as Miss May these days.



No, but I did try the game eggs and mustard egg.
She ate the mustard.
The fake eggs for mothered by Bitty.

I can convert the new nest boxes to rollout easily enough. I am giving her a week then I convert them if she is still an idiot.
I think I should start the conversion for the lower box since I haven't added a board yet.

Since putting everyone on all flock Miss May has continued to improve. Still not roosting but definitely moving and eating more.

I found my missing Tolbunt frizzle rooster, very pleased about that. He went off last night into the woods on the other side of the driveway. I couldn't find him anywhere . He showed up today down closer to the house.

Ricardo has a bacterial infection and is on antibiotics. She also got her crop flushed really well and was given some fluids. She's much more active now. Good news is no parasites or coccidiosis, just keep him warm and fed. Now I get to convince DD#3s dog, Trixie, to come sleep in my room for some peace and quiet. The chicks are in her room and Trixie has been very tired.

Luci, of course, is perfectly fine and at least double the size of Ricardo, but then Luci is the normal of the two.

Aw poor little baby got off to a rough start. But I am really glad you got a diagnosis and course of treatment. That is great news.

People threaten ME with that. They say I go into a store and disappear. I do not. I tend to find something I like and stay there for quite awhile trying to talk myself out of buying it.

I got stung again today.
When it gets dark I am checking inside the dog house. It is a big dog house. If they are in there they die in there.
