My mystery bulbs. These bulbs are maybe the size of thumb at their largest. Some were clustered together others weren’t. I don’t recall anything bulb like blooming where I found them. But it was so overgrown I cleared everything out.
I found some micro garlic. I swear it looked like someone buried those 4th of July poppers. But I could smell it so I know what they are.

They look like daffodils. Kind of small so maybe one of the dwarf varieties.
Pretty neat find!

TSP is only for before painting. No shine left and the new paint will stick better.

Gottcha. Will do. It sounds like an extreme product so I will have to figure out where I can really spread out and not destroy everything around.
I did see TSP substitutes....not sure I trust substitutes.

I do not know, I never used anything else. Use gloves, it is hard on the hands.

Oh boy, I let the derp kids pick their own roost spots no shuffling anybody around.
I figure they want to be grown today we will be grown all the way.
Things went semi fine, only one decent and hilarious peck fight between Ethel and Kim.
Kim is a brat waited until Ethel turned her back then pecked her after Ethel gave her the stare down. So many checks written so little ass to cash those checks.:gig

@FlyingNunFarm They aren't crocus, are they?

I have no idea. I looked for a before picture that showed how overgrown it was. They could be a mini variety of something. Daffodils would make sense since nothing ate them. LOL

I think I’ll get some potting soil and put them in a pot. See what blooms come spring.

Mystery plants are fun.

We took out a gigantic (20+ feet wide and 14 feet deep) evergreen shrub. Hiding under there were red and yellow tulips, yellow columbine and some of the black iris.
You just never know until they grow.

Good morning everyone,

I’ve been busy the last few days. We’ve been preparing and cleaning because we have friends coming this evening for a visit. They are coming from Maryland and will be staying 2 nights. The have 4 kids as well, so we’ll be a bit hard up for space, but it will be fun. We got our spare room converted into a guest room with a queen bed that has lots of space for storage underneath. We also pulled everything out of our linen dressers, washed and sorted them and put them back in a nice order. We’ve done 15-16 loads of laundry in the past 2 days. We also cleaned the entire house.

Hats off to you! I am wiped out just moving at the snail's pace we are accomplishing. Just the sorting and washing is enough!:bow
