Good morning! I don't know if my phone is lying but it says 34 with a real feel of 30 so shorts weather for Bob!
Also I hear crowing of two pitches so Prince physically survived his scolding, lets hope the rest of him did and that Susan dosent have "plans" for the nudgy food lady.:p

Nonsense, good weather is rare and amazing!
Id talk about it if I had it :smackbe damned.
:frow 22 here this morning

I think we are going to bring Tilly home today.

I know she is still very very sick. I am terrified to bring her home if she is still refusing food.

The $ is getting way to big to choke down.

She and I will be barricaded in the kitchen.
I have good big cushions for her use. I have 2 cushions that are 2'x4' and 3-4" thick. Yup the super expensive kind bought specifically as dog beds.

The hospital burned through 2 days $ in one day. I am pretty sure 1/2 the extra tests they ran were excessive. Testing for very rare conditions that she does not have symptoms for. :hmm

Hubs has had all he can take and then some of all the extra $ and tests.

I have barricaded in the kitchen before with Jack when he was super sick. He HAD eaten while at the vets though so . I had to offer him food and liquid every 30 minutes for 2 weeks after he came home and yes I was in tears often with him.

I guess I just don't know what to do at this point. She is so very sick.

:fl For her today.

We are all rooting for her! Sorry I have a bad memory, do you have a picture of her please? I spent $1,600 on surgery for my pup Jenny, back when I was working. I couldn't afford it now. She lived many years after the surgery to fix her genetic urinary defect.

She is the one on the back of the sofa. For real she sits there so she gets a real good view of any shifty carp out the front window.
Ten years ago when Jack had swallowed a rock he had surgery. It was ~ $1500.

I put a call in to my old vet that treated him. I really hope he calls me back. I stressed to the receptionist that Tilly is a critical case and I really need to talk to him.

Do you have a heating pad for her to lay on?

I don't but then where she is she doesn't even have a blanket. Just big pee pads. :(
I certainly can get one of I have to.

Between Thanksgiving and New Years seems to be when I've lost the most older dogs.

Me too. :hugs

Kismet on Christmas eve, Sparky December 1, Cinnamon was in late September but I will still count that, Jack's rock episode was November, Suki was November, Jasper was December..........it never ends. :hit

Now Jack is very old. Very tolerant and very old.
