Official Squatch Watchers

I was putting more ornaments on the tree. It still needs more. And i want to do garlands this year. Cats keep taking ornaments off. I put plastic ones near the bottom. I have lots of wrapping to do and i need more stuff for hubby. He does not want a new chair. Says the 11 year old one is just getting nicely worn in.
My husband would never replace anything if it were up to him. The struggle is real.

My husband has a 30 year old jacket that still fits him! He is happy to throw my stuff out though.
Why is that??? My husband buys “tangible” items. Stuff I want to buy we won’t get a full return on. Insert Rolling My Eyes!!!

Ruby, my husband is an organized neat freak. If he uses something he promptly puts it back in it’s place. I procrastinate about putting things up and will “get to it later.”

Do you get overwhelmed because there is so much to do. But the week long tornado you are cleaning up after is yourself???
When we are going somewhere I get up 2-3 hours early to feed the dogs, let them out 2-3 times, tend to chickens, grab myself something to eat (if I am lucky), make sure the child is properly dressed, yell at him to get up, eat and hurry up etc. Hubby sleeps late, gets up, gets a shower, fixes coffee and ready to go. And I am still running around!!

Yep. I got the Shepherd for him but i feed her. How did that happen? I sleep late unless i have to be someplace. But he rarely opens the pop doors. He never feeds the animals. However he does cook, do the grocery shopping and cuts the wood for the woodstove. He also cleans out the ash. He really does do a lot. Loads and unloads the dishwasher and washes his own clothes.
