Ok, so I got a fake k-cup coffee machine my first one ever.
Can the folks that have one already tell me what is the fuss about?
It is cute, but im lost on the draw of one cup.

I love it solely because we never have half full pots of coffee in the fridge anymore. DH is the only coffee drinker and he would always make too much and then feel obligated to keep the dregs for later The hot water function is nice for me if I am trying to make tea quickly before I leave in the morning. Other than that....it is a really pretty shade of blue?

Oh, no coffee pot to wash is nice too. We broke the glass one a couple times over and replacements are hard to find. And stupid expensive.

Im guessing clean up is easier too right?
I got some of those reuseable filter things too.
This one is red, blue was out of stock and green was stupid expensive.
It is replacing a 12 cup deal that has the electrical death scent.

Exactly. He rarely uses the pods. He just puts fresh ground coffee in a filter basket. But it is still convenient not to have to use paper filters or measure the water or wash the pot....or waste coffee cause he has no one to share it with...or comfort his idiot wife after she accidentally burned herself on the hot plate again...

I think the red sounds nice! Very cheerful. Didn't you have a snazzy red toaster or something too?

Yep, everything small appliance is pretty much red, not by choice it just seems to always be what they have and is cheapest.

I would like the one cup thing.....since most days between hubs and I we empty a full pot but I would like "one more cup".

Other than my selfish desire to have that extra cup I have no usable knowledge lol.

Hi guys!

I’ve been rather busy. Did I miss anything?

Update on the Milk Drinker. He’s trying to start to crawl. Can’t do much more than scootch backwards for the time being, but he can get up on all fours without help.

Two days ago, he figured out how to play peekaboo completely unassisted! He was laying in his crib next to me (I was waiting for him to tire himself out) when I saw he pulled a blanket over his face. I asked where’d he go and he pulls he blanket off his face and gives me a big gummy smile. I then look away and a few seconds later he starts squealing and flailing his arms and legs. I loom and he has the blanket back over his face. We played peekaboo for 10-15 min. The kid just turned 5 months today. I thought Thing 1 was smart but this kid is leaving big brother’s milestones in the dust.
