Well at least it will be pretty, that is the one nice thing about it.
I still don't really want any, it is just such a dramatic thing here.:D
:frow They say I'm supposed to get some tomorrow.

Yes, sometimes I think the sack performed too well.
I still have a few days before the review, im giving it a solid month of testing.
Im thinking about putting one of the girls on it for photos, there are so many with dogs and kids I think it would be hilarious.:p

Ethel got nude fast, like just chunks fell out overnight.
And I knew there wasnt much chicken there but she's tiny.
I guess ill try to shove her inbetween some puffs when it gets cold.
So the sack experiment is a success? Did you write a glowing review for the sack?

Same. Loki & Jackie are still 1/2 naked. Clover is well covered still, but she's dropping feathers all over the place. I know she's molting from the feathers, but she's got so many I can't tell from looking at her. Bitter cold is coming here, but then we warm back up a bit again. Hopefully they stay warm enough.

Nice collars Henny, way prettier than the store.
Hate to hear about your boy, it is hard when they get old.
Old cat is the closest ive ever come to petting a mummy, you can feel the age.:hugs
A few better pics of the collars I make.

They are 1.5" wide so pretty big really.

In other news.....

My old dog is not doing well. He has been losing control of all 4 limbs which sends him careening like a 105# battering ram as he tries to regain control.
It is super dangerous to him and everything/everyone around him.
:( His time is short. I knew it was coming but it still sucks duck butter.

No, for the time being the Director is going to oversee our dept & the HR/asst dir is going to be doing our scheduling. They're going to have to post the position & I'll interview for it, but I'll be happy if they hire someone else for it as long as they are smarter than I am. I know enough to get by, but there's so much more that we could do here if we had someone who actually had training or experience w/ stuff. I can only learn so much on my own & any training I've tried to get was never approved (or not approved, it was just ignored until it had passed). There was a lesson learned though.. Know when it's time to retire & don't stick around past your usefulness. This *could* have been a nice occasion if she had just accepted it was time to retire.
It is tough to pick a time to retire. Waiting until Social security kicks in is a consideration and for me, when Medicare kicks in. It would cost me a big chunk of retirement to pay for health insurance for the Family until age 65
