So we had a major victory tonight!

Recently, we moved the guineas into our stationary coop but left the fencing up to train them that it is home base. However, we have had to put them in the coop manually every night since the move. We tried keeping them shut in the coop for a few days, no dice. We tried lighting the coop, no dice. Last night, I suggested putting their feed inside and trailing the food up the ramp. Tonight, all the guineas were in the coop!!! We intend to leave them in there with the fence for another week or more and then we’ll take the fence down and that will be guinea town permanently.

It takes 3-4 weeks in there to decide that's their place. Been there, done that.

Hello everyone! Good morning.

The boys had me up before the chickens this morning (4:45am). I decided to let DH sleep in for a change and I got to work early. Which was fun while trying to wrangle both boys. I woke DH about a half hour ago to help with the wrangling. The Milk Drinker has decided now is a good time for his first morning nap. He's asleep on me at the moment but I'm hoping to transfer him to his crib when he is in a slightly deeper sleep.
