What an awesome little dude! Do yours seem to be able to see ok on their own? Or do you have to give them haircuts?
I gave Poof Poof a trim because he has a crest and a beard. He was also the only bird out there that had such a crest and I didn't want him at a disadvantage to the other birds. I have a very crested Swedish Flower and oddly she was the one that liked to pick at Poof Poofs crest.

These two seem to do fine. With the little bit of snow I have the Silkies are the ones that were out today.

For those with hens sprouting spurs, you can use a rotary finger nail file to keep them short and rounded. You need to start early, before they get long. I've been doing that with Tinsley and Luci(fer) since their spurs started showing up.
My hen started hers but it has stayed round and small. She always had 2 spur scales right next to each other so she now has 2 rounded spurs on one leg. At first I was worried it was some sort of infection or something but its definitely spurs.

We have a banty Cochin and a silkie, but I'm not going to be much help because ours are indoor.

As far as the roos, Tinsley wants a person nearby, and Luci(fer) is being himself, trying to make with Lizbeth, but not even trying to woo her first.

Tinsley is a full size boy, and actually very interesting. He has waddles that reminds me of the description of Odin's, and a huge comb that I'm surprised hasn't turned in to a beret.

Luci is a very rough looking silkie, not the puffball that most turn out to be.

Fortunately neither one has turned out to be a jerk, and vet wrap makes a good roo collar. They also have music going 24/7, though I probably need to change it up more.

I get the most interesting sounds from Tinsley. He has a fog horn/submarine dive alert, coos, ours and others that are hard to describe, other than happy/contented.

Other than that, there's not much else going on with them.

Man I really miss rooster noises. Glad the little guys are (mostly) behaving themselves.
