Good gravy, 18 and still laying when she can...poor thing is right!
Birds get the sh*t end of the stick as much as we do, poor birds.
I went out to count heads and everybody looks ok except for Lulu, she's puffed up under a tree pouting.
Girl does not like cold weather, never has despite being the poofiest out there.
She gets downright antisocial lol!
Hobo was on the nest and shot me a look that was just pure evil, that hen is over me and my nest peeking.
I do not fish eggs out from under her, I wait patiently only took one time to teach me too.
I know she's pleased.![]()
She did not ever lay until she was 11.

She was bought as a male. It was quite a shock when she started laying. After her third egg was laid she had issues. She had fallen to the bottom of her cage and got a wing caught. Yup she broke it, bone sticking out and all of that freaky carp. I moved her to a different cage that has a solid bottom so no wire grid to do that again. I had to research how to make them stop laying. It turns out they will lay and lay and lay until their body quits working.
It is super dreary out with zero attempts by the sun to show it's face. I have been staying in and doing housework.

I drank a Pepsi zero.....no do not think I like it. Made my stomach hurt. I had not drank a soda in a very very long time.
There are so many things I need to get done and to many dogs WAY to interested in what I am doing. I still don't trust them outside unattended.
