Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning. :frow

☺ Thank you! That means at least 2 of our dogs can fit in there with me!

Good morning Cappy! How are your hatchings coming along?
I have 2 small incubators locked down, but nothing happening yet.

Hi folks!

Sad news. Robin is now alone again. Friday passed last night. I’m not entirely surprised because he was not very strong. I have two more Cornish eggs that should be hatching today. Speaking of which, I need to check on them. We spent about 2 hours this morning up on our hill working on clearing an access road. It makes a nice walking trail and my parent’s quad worked well for getting stuff up there. Getting up and down the access road to it was a bit hairy but we managed. We were able to clear the road even with my parent’s house.

We’ve only just gotten started. We used two tanks of gas in the chainsaw and we are just getting to the more overgrown section. We are maybe about 1/3rd down the trail. We have a lot of work to do on our property. We have 35 acres and at least half of it is COVERED in autumn olive. I DISPISE the stuff. It is everwhere.

Buckthorn is the weed trees here...and mulberries, but mulberries are food too

ERMAGERD!! I burned through the fabric I had for a quilt and trying to find it online is near impossible!

I finally found it and now to see if they are actually able to fill my order.

I begged my mom to make a couple masks for DH and I. I can sew but I when I checked my meager fabric stash there was nothing remotely appropriate. And trying to buy fabric supplies right now is like trying to catch a unicorn. Mom is a quilter so she has a mega stash.

Hope your order comes through :fl

My chickens love mulberries. There is usually about a 1 month period each year when the hens are constantly purple on both ends. :gig
