Buckthorn is the bane of my existence. Hate the stuff. Got a note on my door that the electric company was going to cut down 18 Buckthorn trees on my property. I was so excited. Well they haven't showed up and unless they mean some tiny Buckhorn(miserable shrubs) I don't see 18 trees.

I have some wonderful news today. Two Cornish babies hatched overnight. No assistance necessary and they both look VERY healthy! No curled feet or splayed legs!!!! Robin is doing well on his own in the brooder for now. Once s(he) figured out eating and drinking, everything was fine.

Morning everyone.

Good to hear the babies are doing well.

Laundry is running, fridge is cleaned out, dishwasher is running, birds are fed and watered, plants going outside in an hour, lawn needs mowed but is to wet.

I am going to set up a sunny spot for the ducks today. I think they need some outside time.
I am hoping that the garden will dry a bit before Wednesday. I really need to get seeds planted.
