Me too! Actually, I think these two are Dark/White crosses and Robin is a dark Cockerel. Robin's wings are growing in dark. These two chicks much lighter than Robin was.So glad they are healthy
He is getting more interested in the hens he has been with. Its a beautiful sunny morning here. Well, not morning anymore. We went back up on the hill today and cleared more of the trail today. I had off work this morning, so it was a nice way to spend the morning.
@Molpet has Steve gotten in the breeding mood yet? Mine seem to have gotten more prolific as it warms up.

Still waiting a bit to put him in with the other hens... but he is not a gentleman.. Eats first, doesn't call the hens, runs them down. hopefully he improves
Put him in with some older girls who can teach him some manners. That is what I do with my cockerels. Both my cocks love their ladies. He's in with 11 older and 3 pullets and stepdad. The 3 pullets he grew up with are willing most of the time. It's the hens from 2yrs ago that he runs down when they aren't by the stepdad. Stepdad will stop Steve if the hens squak and he is around.Put him in with some older girls who can teach him some manners. That is what I do with my cockerels. Both my cocks love their ladies.
