I wonder what the red masks will end up being


I move Steve last night in the roo less coop. About an hour after I let them out he was at the fence trying to figure how to get back to the old coop. A cockerel and a jake decided to take turns trying to get him through the fence. Between that and the north wind he went back to the new to him coop. He was first in line to grab scrambled eggs and took some away from hens and they let him.

*facepalm* Hopefully I can get some eggs to you soon. I didn't set any guineas this week so I had extra room in my incubator for all but 6 of the eggs I gathered this week.

No hurry, only broodies I have are turkeys. I don't want to trust them adopting chicks anyway LOL

I usually don't trust broodies with shipped eggs because they have detacted air cells and such.

I just sold my Buff and Chocolate Orps. I really don't have a need for them. I got $35 for 4 hens.

Look at my new babies! They have red face masks. They also have some small, irregular black spots on their necks/backs.
