Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning! Bob you need a backup for your home machine lol.
You know once you do your power wont ever go out again and you'll never have to use it. ;)
:frow Good morning Chicky, have a great day... I'd like to get a whole house backup generator, but they are really really expensive.

Ok I FINALLY have enough coffee in me to function.....sort of.

Good morning everyone. :frow

As much as I wanted a fancy pond for the ducks that was going to be to much work, money, and trouble. We bought a rubermaid stock tank yesterday. I will build a duck deck for around it. That should help keep it cleaner.

Love you guys but I gotta get rolling outside. :frow Have an awesome day!

:frow Good morning and have a great day Henny

I thought about one too but the neighbor has a generac and that dumb thing has failed the last two outages.
It does self tests every 3 days or so and you would think that would keep failures to a minimum but nope.
Oh and self tests are loud, really loud im never unaware of the generac doing it's thing.

Hey guys, I just wrote a new article. Can you guys proof read it for me?

https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/outdoor-brooding-from-day-one.75687/

I saw 2 typos. Mean should be meant and tided should be tied.

A suggestion.....break up the big chunks of text a bit.....
Perhaps hitting return after the first sentence and after discussing how the hen does it.

I would also hit more on how they can be brooded straight in the coop....including how to do it with adult birds in the coop.

Good topic for sure.

Thanks. I'll fix those things. I can mention brooding in a coop but a lot of people have done articles on brooding with adults. I might mention that my phase two setup can be used in the field/pen with the adult birds if the electric can reach or with a broody sitting on eggs/raising babies, in the field with the flock and no electricity.
