The history of the squatch watchers.....condensed version......

A few years ago there was a thread by "theuglychick" about feral chickens on/near her property. There were fleeting glimpses, blurry pictures and random sightings with no "proof of existence".

Through supporting the rescue of the sweet (turned out to be an old english game bantam rooster) we all became good friends. Smuvers (who has now been MIA for nearly a year) made this thread so we could continue our friendships without continuing to bury the other thread.

Look what came a day early!!!!

Now, the only question is.... once I get it up to temp and figure out the humidity, do I set the eggs that I didn't set Saturday or wait to set them all Saturday so I don't mess up my hatches.... I actually think I want to move to mid week hatches anyway so I don't have anything tying me down on weekends now that things are loosening up in WV. I might actually take down my 28 egg bator and give it a good cleaning.

And I just put the last of the compromised eggs in the lock down incubator. 8 chicken and 3 guinea eggs. I'd be surprised if more than 4 of them and any of the guineas hatched.

So very true. I normally do my greets in the first hour or so of the morning... Been taking close to three since lockdown. Chicks are the new TP.

Im waiting on a new alarm clock, a powerstrip with usb ports, candy and clove ciggies.....and more candy lol!

Clove ciggies and more candy are international so it will be June or later before they come.
Indonesia should start shipping May 29th and Japan I have no idea.
I buy a lot of stuff from both countries so i'll be happy when things are more "normal".

You always make me want cloves again! Why do you order them from so far away? I can get them here at the cigarette shops. Not cheap, but I can get them.

Oh girl! Outside of the U.S.A there is a massive utopia of delicious clove ciggie brands we will never see.
This one brand Esse has a little flavor capsule in the filter you pop the shuffle pops have 5 flavors all are sooo good.
Ohhhh and Sampoerna sunnys have a hint of lemon, odd combo but wow it is nice.
Even the Djarums are slightly different, more "clovey" and they get flavors like cappuccino and green tea.
So variety and quality is why I do it, if im going to have a bad habit im doing it right.
Not as cool as a new bator but the clock and power strip arrived.
I installed a clock on the firestick but when the video pauses and asks if im still watching the clock goes away.
Every app on that thing does it now so old school clock had to happen.
