Tucks broke the broody today but she dosen't seem to feel good at all.
I think she pulled a Marlene and drank an enormous amount of water.
She eats but not a lot, and her poop is runny and starvey green.
Poor girl im hoping she feels better in the morning.
In better news I saved some bluebird babies, their house was about to fall out of a tree so it got reinforced.
Mama bluebird was not impressed by my heroics at all lol! :)

Yeah, you have to order early with them. I decided to hatch my own this year and not buy any since the recession killed our finances.
 
@Chickassan you cursed me the other day....cursed me good. Yup I have a broody butt in the nest box. :rolleyes: The first of many I am sure.

I made a (hopefully cleaner) water dish for the quacklings.

Of course their first night out of the chicken house and we have high winds. They are inside the chicken run in a temporary pallet rig. They are secure and it is a stable set up. I am confident they will be ok.

Im technically still in bed though, no way im going out before 7 that is plenty early. :)
