Official Squatch Watchers

I had another chick hatch with similar issues late yesterday (this one needed help hatching). I switched them to smaller diameter cups because the bowls didn't seem to be working and they had their feet up by their ears. This morning all 3 have their feet under them in the cup. The last hatched chick is standing moderately well without the cup, but not quite stable yet. The other two don't have their feet as far out in front as yesterday, but they aren't there yet. Let's see how cup therapy helps them today.

Hey I'm glad they are doing good. What is the purpose of the cups? Sorry just new to me.

I'm correcting splay leg. The chicks had their legs way out in front of them and couldn't stand up. Hobbles correct legs splayed out to the side, the cup corrects the splay leg to the front.

@Molpet have the broodies accepted the eggs?
Oh I put them in the incubator. 2 are breaking eggs because they are part CX. Two aren't but might as well keep them in the incubator. I put some Steve's eggs too. And a few from a different pen ... I'm pretty sure those will hatch.. LOL
They get the chicks. They get a few new eggs too.

How's the fertility on Steve's eggs?
