I didn't think I'd like the bugs as much as i did but watching the spiders molt and get bigger was pretty neat. The scorpions didn't do much except escape so they weren't my favorites.

I love lizards, snakes and amphibians. Couldn't get into "bugs" though (not that spiders and scorpions are technically bugs, but you get what I mean).

We used to own a chain of pet stores and we had just about every critter you commonly see. Growing up i caught everything and brought them home.

I thought that too on her last trip and saw there are several of those cities and knew she probably didn’t go to our Lynchburg?.?.

Last thing i caught was a mole cricket in the grocery store floor. I knew if i didn't somebody would squish him so i put him in my shirt pocket and let him go in the box garden.

I guess I "caught" a neat bug once.

At the grocery store I saw a large green mantis on the bottom of a grocery cart. Went to the deli and asked for a big empty container. We released it way out in the country.

Didn't think it really wanted to be in the grocery store where food is scarce.

I have been called to peoples houses to catch critters. Most recently a tree frog in a lady's kitchen. Hubby always calls me to catch snakes and lizards. I have caught mice with my fingers as well.

Wanna come help me with a brave little mouse in my coop? It avoids traps. We have a routine at night now. I shine the flashlight and say "out" and it heads out the pop door. I am sure it just comes back once I am gone.

Kind of far cross country for mice!
