Sure you can because the mice drown they walk the plank and drown in water. I use a similar trap but they just jump in

Well, it definitely looks like something more viable for our detached garage, rather than trying to set 10 traps and checking them every morning and night.

I think you would still have to feed them when fresh unless its cold in there.
