Good morning! Today is coop cleaning and grass cutting day yipee!
Both are going to be fuuun, the coop I get to boot out Barb and Renee for way,way longer than they are going to be o.k with.
I see some accidental chicken hosing in the very near future lol.
Grass is like a jungle, it has been too hot and I was in a funk so it has gotten wild out there.
Basically I get to lie in the wonderful bed of crap iv'e made for myself and enjoy it, sounds like what Saturdays were made for.

You can have the weeding although i'd still rather hand weed all day than use the weed eater for any amount of time.
I got most of the grass done, chickens are in my last level which is shade so im taking a break and letting them have it for now.
Barb and Renee will have to just deal with it today, coop is stinky so it has to happen.
Iv'e been booting for days now but both little fart heads just keep stealing eggs and being insane.

I got the in ground area weeded and the tomato section. The front section needing done......well most is in the sun now, the ground is not soft enough and so..... no.
Besides I got sidelined into helping with a fence project.
That is also in the sun.

Well iv'e done all I can grass wise,my mower just wont do the woods level without getting stuck since iv'e not got a floating deck.
Hubs put one "together" for me that does but I don't trust it to be perfectly honest it was his mom's and she tore it up constantly and he "fixed" it.
Finally she blew the motor and the piece of turd came here and he put a ginormous motor back on it and said "here ya go" to me.
Needless to say iv'e not hopped up on what is basically Christine in lawnmower form just yet but im going to have to one day I suppose or feelings will be bruised and the only way any of my difficult crap will EVER get cut will go back to his mom.
She bought herself a brand new fancy one so ill be damned if that happens.
Sorry if that sounded awful, but just a little bit sorry.
Last break of the day, feed the derps and clean the coop while everybody is distracted....or thats the plan anyhoo.

Im nearly done! Poop and old hay is out, floor is hosed and im just waiting for it to dry so I can slap down the crap board and sprinkle just enough hay so the freakazoids will still go to bed in there.
Renee and Barb stayed just out of hose range doing that awful broody cluck the whole time.
I only saw one extremely obese mouse so that was a nice surprise,hosed that chunk right out the door lol.
Did good untill I turned over hub's rain barrel or mosquito land as I call it and freaked everybody out,hopefully by roost time they'll be over it.

We just had a flash flood alert monsoon thunderstorm. First rain for the 4 week old test flock, they are out in it pecking and scratching! Dropped the temp from 95 to 80!
