I bet that temperature drop feels like heaven,im a bit envious.:)
We just had a flash flood alert monsoon thunderstorm. First rain for the 4 week old test flock, they are out in it pecking and scratching! Dropped the temp from 95 to 80!

It was 10% chance of rain in the forecast. We were running around when the thunder started, to get everything put away that we did not want drenched. Too bad we had already watered the lawn! :rant

Anybody ever have an upside down chick?
Little thing is always on its back. I flip it over and it rolls right back. I put shelf liner in the incubator and put it right side up... flipped right back over. Right now I have it in a cup in the incubator. But I can’t leave it in there forever. If it can’t stay right side up I don’t know what I can do.

How long has it been out of the egg Nunny?
Lulu was a flipper and it took her nearly two days to stay on her feet without help.

Nutridrench the chick.

I haven't got a clue.
Lulu was hatched here from a mailed egg and so far knock on wood she has been the only flipper iv'e ever had.
I did see one doing that at Tractor Supply when I was considering just getting a few there. What causes it, do you know @Chickassan ? It put me off of getting chicks at that store!
