Official Squatch Watchers

OK so FINALLY caught up.

We don't do holidays either. We respect everyone right to do or not do as they choose to.

We named her Sable.

Yup I'm not shrinking that one. :p

She has been to the vet this afternoon and got a clean bill of health. Fecal test results are pending until tomorrow.

Super sweet puppy! She is very people oriented. My other dogs are a bit to excited to meet her so spent the afternoon outside. Hubby will be home soon to help me with introductions.

Had to share my happy with you all.

Oh and she thinks my son is the bees knees. He actually laughed a bit today. :)

I can wrap gifts. I have a knack for it... but I cannot condone all the friggen WASTE! It drives me nuts!

List of Smuvs Holiday Pet Peeves:

1. Cards on gifts and gift wrapping
2. People who take their BABIES out trick or treating (please people, we KNOW it's YOU who eats the candy)
3. Unbuckled belts after T-giving meals. Dude, you KNOW your pants were too tight... wear sweats for everything holy!
4. Valentines Day (just why.... yeesh)
5. Wedding Anniversary Gifts from your kids... (it's YOUR marriage, not your kids)
6. BLACK FRIDAY!!!

Ok, I'll sit back and take my whuppin now... g'head.

[oh sh*t girl. ya know i'm not here. cuz, well, i'm not. BUT (and i hate all things christmas/holiday and am a true scrooge, and i just had to respond to this smuvs, damn you!)

my holiday pet peeve: when i lived in detroit, they had this dumb ass midwestern-- or maybe just michigan-- holiday called "Sweetest Day." they do not have this--nor ever had--in jersey, and i have never heard anything about it before or since i lived out there.

it is like valentine's day, but in (i think) october. it is the dumbest non-holiday ever. and people celebrate it there. so not only do you have to get your SO a present on valentines day, you have too get them one on sweetest day, which is only 4 months earlier. and if you DON'T have a SO, or don't want one, then you feel twice as bad in one year. it is a retarded-ass holiday, for sure.

that's all, my nonexistent self is done now. bye bye, lovies. ]

This is why faverolles and rain are a bad combination...:lauView attachment 1214365
Sweet baby!

I got bit TWICE today by my older chicks!!! What tha crap is that about???? That Lemon Orpington sounds like a goose and so skittish. I don’t know what to think of this flock, but they are only 12 weeks old, hopefully it will get better.

Wonder is San would be upset if I sent him a Bantam Brahma instead??? Those combs are an ugly mug. ;)

You're pronouncing it right, kaasan means everyday mother in Japanese so I'm an everyday chicken mother or a chicken mother everyday. ;)
@rjohns39 when is your biography being released? You have amazing stories and I KNOW with all your talent, a book is in the works some where.

@Chickassan I always read is as Chick-a-son and say it that way real fast.

If I am up to it, I will make more cheese straws and give the maillady some, otherwise she will get a tin of hot chocolate.

My son prays for Christmas snow every night during supper blessing. Actually, there may be a slight chance of flurries, but anything can happen. AL has been shut down twice for unexpected snow!

Oh and don't forget Sweetest Day. Apparently this is a geographical holiday. It's the 4th Saturday in Oct. It's exactly the same thing as Valentines Day! Just stupid!
No whuppins from me cuz I couldn't agree more

[oh, bloody hell!!!! !that's what i get for responding before i read thte thread. ok, officially banning myself now, bye.]

All you have to do is read this thread and you realize that even though we were all raised differently, we are all loving caring, compassionate people who truly respect each other. We are all eager to help one another and along the way we all learn so much from each other too. We all basically want the same thing.....to be happy. I know having all of you makes me happy and makes me a better person.
:hugs:hugs I feel the same way.

@Suzi18 I absolutely agree. I just want to be happy, and whenever I make a wish for the PIC, it is always ALWAYS that he will be happy.

@Chickassan I WISH our mailman was nice... but he's a jackass. He is SO LAZY, he won't deliver stuff up to our home that needs to be (like a pink bag full of saplings), rather he leaves them at our mailbox... on a *main-ish* road with NO speed limit..... and easy to steal (though that would be a surprise if someone did). Mailman would rather shove a package into the mailbox, and then rubber band it shut... I'm like REALLY?!?!?

Also at chickassan... every time I read your name, I read it Chick Assassin.... PLUS, when I tag your name, I type in chickenass and THEN your name pops up!!! :lau
You tickle the poop out of me smuvs!
