I pulled all my candy onions. I haven't done a final count but it looks to be close to 100. The beans and cukes have been picked too.

Now.....what to plant where the onions were.....

I think cabbage and lettuce would be quick enough crops.

Ok fabric gurus I need to reupholster my couch. The dog is killing it. Currently a woven fabric she slowly breaks threads and then it unravels. I've had a faux leather couch with real leather seats, she killed that too.
So what type of tough dog proof fabric should I try?
Kevlar?

Not a bad idea, or a couple of throws. Duck cloth or canvas is Super sturdy. Just don't know how comfy it would be for a couch. But then you could use it for the dog and the throws for yourself.

I do the same.

Theoretically you could candle them, but that's a lot of work and I agree with Henny, if they're freaked out, then they're better off with store bought eggs, and even then you can get the occasional hunk of protein or blood spot.
