Yes everyone misses a name or a face from time to time. I miss ALL THE TIME. No need to be embarrassed at all.

Rae, It is super nice your folks can take the boys and give you a break. The hardest job on the planet is parenting.

Good morning everyone,

Today feels a lot better than yesterday. My parents took the boys for almost 2 hours last night and I got to take a nice bath. She'll be taking them this morning as well.

DH has his CDL test on Saturday morning. He's going to the bus depot this morning to run through his pre-trip inspection list and anything else he can study up on. We were right, he was offered the really crappy route on the other side of the county to start with. We are currently debating trying the route for a month and seeing what happens. If he doesn't take the route, he will still be on tap as a substitute driver, but that is an even crappier option as he doesn't know what he needs to do on any given day.

Glad you got a respite and a long bath. Don't envy you with all your responsibility.
I guess the new guy getting the carpy route is to be expected. Trying it sounds like a good idea. Maybe a closer route will open up or he could find someone that wanted it.

'on call' and can't make any plans. AND if you're a really good substitute they might not give you a permanent job because you're more valuable to company as a great substitute

I always have had troubles with names. I don't call people by their names. Because it would be the wrong name. LOL

See, that's the thing, someone else does want it, which is why the issue is coming up now before he even takes the CDL. The issue is, it is the only route with a permanent opening.
