Not sure if today can get more scary than last night. But it also couldn't have had a better ending. (Maybe a little but not much)
I was at work with a few min left on the clock so I thought I would look in on the chickens. I leave for work earlier on Monday and Thursday and with the time change had left their door open as they were still outside. That will not be happening again!
I turned the sound on the video off so the screaming of expletives isn't heard. But I can assure you I was screaming them into the microphone so they could be heard in the coop. He didn't care.
By some miracle everyone is ok. The 6 mature boys got a talking too about being more vigilant but everyone survived.
It was the longest drive home at the fastest speed ever traveled. I sent reinforcements ahead but the intruder was gone. For 2020 this is some divine intervention as even on a normal day I've had trouble keeping birds alive. (Only way it might have been better was if I had a new hat)

glad everyone is ok. Are you allowed to use paw traps? Do you know when hunting season is? I recommend the Duke Dog proof traps. If you bait them for a while without setting you'll have no problem catching the stinker.

Good morning Fishy, have a great day
