I water in the morning, soaker hose. They claim night watering can contribute to mildew.

It can. I use a flood watering attachment so just the dirt gets wet. I have to be careful not to wash dirt out of the carrot pots.

Watering the grass in the evening has been ok for all the years I have done it here.

I'm humid, due point is 70 and the humidity 75 but in a drought. I think you're not as humid. Probably makes a difference.

You can have all these spurt storms, just realised that post tree I lost was my last weeping cherry of any kind of size.
They grow slow, by the time I can enjoy the saplings I probably wont know what a tree is.:barnie
87 degrees
64% humidity
Yay summer...:tongue
Anyone have some rain to spare?

I mowed the yard and it's already to hot to water.

Dang Chicky. :(

I am sorry about the tree. :hugs

I am going out every evening picking peach babies off the peach tree in hopes of lightening the load and not losing it to breakage. This weekend I will be on a step ladder trying to reach the higher branches.
I seen where they just used a pole and knocked them down
