These are the wee baby ones still....golf ball and smaller. The city moved the power pole last year and now it isn't far above the tree.

After harvest we are cutting the tree back to avoid issues for a few years. Topping that tree should help.

Kicker is sucker is at the edge of the woods, trees galore.

Just snapped right off, nothing else touched.
I did a truly blast from the past chore today....I burned trash.
Did it while hubs was gone it had to be done.
He's on this recycle kick that never gets past the crucial step of leaving here.
It is summer, we have critters, excess garbage makes my butt crawl.
Sooo yeah.
My Mom & Grandma taught me the scorched earth method.
Last time I went domestic fire bug I was actually Mom's sidekick.
Free dust bath ashes though!

I am sorry about the tree.

I am going out every evening picking peach babies off the peach tree in hopes of lightening the load and not losing it to breakage. This weekend I will be on a step ladder trying to reach the higher branches.

How far is the recycling center? I used to take stuff to the town to the north, but they built a school there. Down the Rd a mile, I can take paper, but the last few years the traffic is crazy on that corner and I never know if there's room. Took me a half hour last time to get in drop off and get home.

Quarter mile at the most, the road it is on cuts directly off the road we live on.
It is literally within walking distance for a man with two trucks and three trailers.
If it stacks beyond knee high ima setting it on fire.
It is lazy, gross, im not having it.
