Official Squatch Watchers

1. Tell him to fix it first and hope he never gets around to it.
2. Find someone that would appreciate it and suggest giving/sell to them.
3. just tell him the truth.

I think option 3 is likely the best choice. I just don't want him trying to buy a new big tool box. I can get by with just the top section and my portable one.

Saturday is the moving day for anything I need extra lift power to move.

Give it back to him.:)
Any ideas on how to tell hubs that I really don't want to try and cram the big tool box into the new shop?

Backstory.....
It is a used (and abused) tool box on a 4' long base. The wheels don't work and drawers are bent enough to resist opening and closing.
He gave me that box after I bought him a THIRD giant tool box. He also stuffed it with his "it is still sort of useful" tool discards.....that I won't ever need.

The new shop space is about 1/2 as big as the old shop. Every inch matters.

Usually the truth is best.. feelings get hurt anyway you go sometimes.

It's really hard to open and close the drawers on that bottom section. Other than that it's just to darn big and full of stuff I don't need.

That's where his feelers will be bruised. He thinks I need all those things but the truth is I don't and that makes them a waste of space.

No mice here today but it is a rotten day for the legless lizards.
I don't know if it is hanky panky season for them or what but those chickens are racking up.
Even Homer is catching some if that says anything.
Thank goodness they don't squeal.
Between the prices going up and packages growing smaller and all the "Hey you know that produce you just ate from the store? Yeah we are recalling it for listeria." I prefer to give the squirrel thing a try.

Lol!!! I have one mode....go. My zucchini and squash have been hard won this year. I battled blossom end rot for weeks!

I had to come in. My hens have a mouse cornered and are making it scream. 😧🤮

I can't get to it to end it's torment.

Good morning everyone. :frow

The dehydrated zucchini turned out ok. Not bad for a first try.
I did 2 trays with and 2 trays without lemon. None of them turned brown. Salt.....yeah next time no salt. All that shrinking made for overly salty chips.
The18 hours it is said to take is vastly shorter with my dehydrator.
I also did up a few apples. First try with those as well. Dehydration with those (also used lemon) certainly makes the flavor stronger. Maybe fruit fresh would be better next time....no added sour with that.

Good morning!
Another one of those mornings where the younger kids are just sitting in the coop.
I don't know what the deal is, maybe new feathers have them sluggish or maybe they're just lazy.
Honestly as much as they eat before bed lazy is very likely.
Moulting is definitely starting to be a thing out there, Lulu has started flogging in response to romantic advances and that's always a sign.
I woke up at 4:17 am to hubs trying to say the name of the audio book I had playing on YouTube... the Iliad.
I had no idea why he has to be so annoying, worse than any toddler on the face of the planet. :th

I used to take tomatoes, onions, garlic and mince to a liquid in food processor. Separately grind up kale. Mix the 2 bowls and add flax seeds until a spreadable paste. Spread about a quarter inch thick on dehydrator sheets and score into crackers. Dry and break into crackers.
I don't have amounts, I just winged it.

I talked to hubs about that tool box. He understands and is not as upset as I thought he would be.

Item #2 that needs handled....
I have what was an engine shipping crate base that I added casters to years ago. It is 40x30x11" inside dimensions. There are several options for this. It is made from true 1x materials and nailed together with twist nails. It is NOT able to take apart.

I could saw one long side down and build the saw table within it's current footprint. The casters do not lock but could be blocked.
The lower section could be used for storage.

Option 2 is to remove the casters and stand it on one side, add doors and a shelf or 2 for storage then put that tool box upper section on top.

I have materials to build a saw table from scratch and include storage even without that crate base.

Kinda thinking out loud here but open to thoughts.
