Official Squatch Watchers

I checked the other boy I couldn’t catch in daylight last night and he had a few bugs. Nothing like Duracell. I even looked Duracell over again and didn’t see anything running around. He is still alive and kicking this morning so that’s good. I really don’t know how he was sooooo bad. I still had some spray mixed up so checked the serama coop. No mites but found a few lice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not on all the birds, just one. Everyone in there got sprayed. Sprayed butts in the Swedish Flowers coop too. Didn’t even check them for bugs. Just used up the spray. I‘ll be checking everyone else tonight. I haven’t seen bugs when I do random checks but clearly EVERYONE needs to be looked at.

The roof quote includes a tear off. I’m going to get more estimates if I can get people to come look. If it wasn’t a house roof and do big I’d be up there doing it. I just can’t do it alone. And even though I’ve had people say they will help I don’t ever seem to actually get it.

I am hoping the bugs go away/die.

I found bug eggs on Bitty when I checked her over. Everyone here is treated and will be again too. Bugs suck....literally. It also looked like she had water belly.

My roof was a tear off, repair one spot, cut ridge vent and install. There were 3 existing roofs on mine from when applying over the old was accepted.

OH mine had new gutters and downspouts as well. That alone was almost a thousand.

The reptile enthusiasts are home. Dh spent a good deal of money on things, but the good thing is, they did NOT bring home any snakes, or big lizards. My grandson did get a praying mantis with a starter kit, and instructions on how to care for it. I don't mind that, and he's actually very responsible with his "critters".

Back in 1999 some buddies and I put a roof on my parents roof. I decided that wasn't happening again lol 3 were great though. One was more trouble than he was worth.

In 2005 or 6 I paid around 3k for a roof on my house, 2 layer tear off. 32x36 footprint.

:frow Good afternoon Nunny, have a great day. Glad you got the bugs... Isn't it funny how folks volunteer to help, but can't be found when the work starts. I even had trouble getting the paid help to show up.

I’ll definitely be getting more quotes. It’s at 3 layers and needs to be torn off. Luckily it has almost no pitch and only 2 valleys. The guy that was here said no ridge vent as I don’t have soffit vents. I have 3 roof vents on the back and he suggested adding 2 to either end.

Blue lines is peaks, red valleys. Yellow dots are the 3 current vents and 2 extras he suggested. Light
purple dots are a vent he doesn’t think I need and my old kitchen hood vent that isn’t in use. Green dots are bathroom vents.
The fence line with a pool inside makes me laugh. Plus the path out to the chickens. My poor yard is a hot mess.

Good morning!
Wow what a freaking day I had yesterday, it was an absolute dog.
Firstly, saw the neighbors yard guys pulling trees down with a chain and a truck.
Normally I keep out of people's business but their chain was tiny and they were way too close to the action so I yelled "stay back from the chain".
Guys walked towards me and about that time chain popped whipped around and embedded in the wood side on the truck.
Had I not yelled someone would have gotten hurt.
I've seen a fella get his elbow turned backwards getting chained on the inside of a truck's cab because he had his arm out the window, its flipping dangerous.
And my MIL stopped by unannounced demanding her lawn be mowed and a trip to whole foods.
Neither one of those happened, although I offered to show her how home delivery worked and she downright refused.
I don't drive anymore, whole foods is way the fudge downtown and you couldn't pay me to get on the interstate to get there.
Lawn mowing is hubs forte, not mine and I don't really do demands.
Bright side, today Betty's toe is back to normal size.:)

Good morning everyone 😊 Have a wonderful day
