I guess rabbit show season started without me 🤦🏻‍♀️
I seem to have a tardy sixth sense. I couldnt stop thinking about it for a couple of days so i went onto the website and, sure enough, yesterday and today there is one just down the road. Ugh! Now I have to drive 3 hours next week or wait until summer for a closer one. There are more between now and summer, but they're all in the 3 hour drive range. And since they start at 9 a.m. Id rather get a hotel than try and make it in time super early in the morning. Ive never been to one of these so i also have no idea what to expect.

Oh boy, i signed up for a rabbit show next week :th
What did i do? 😂
Of course there was one this weekend just down the road but I didnt know until it was already underway and you cant just show up. Now Im going to one 3 hours away.
Its finally nice looking enough outside to put up the cold frame type greenhouse in my veg bed. I’ll post a pic

Ok birds got tended. They were all roosting a bit early.

One egg was broken so yolk on 3 others. Production is up so that's nice. Georgia went from 50% of her comb looking severely frost bitten to looking like she may only lose the very tips...maybe 1/8th inch of the tips look damaged now.

I hope this cold snap doesn't make it worse.
